Check the exact model
Appliances that look alike can have different controls, error codes and maintenance instructions. Our guides explain which models or model families they cover. Check the full model number on your appliance before following a button sequence or opening a maintenance cover.
Show the sources
Manufacturer manuals and support pages are our main references. Each guide links to the documents used, so you can check the instructions and their scope. If your own manual gives different instructions, follow the manual for your model.
Make the limits clear
A warning light or error code rarely proves that one particular part has failed. We explain what you can safely check, what the result tells you and when to stop. Work involving internal wiring, gas components or safety devices belongs with a qualified professional.
Correct mistakes
If you spot an error, the Corrections page helps you prepare a note with the guide URL, model number and a supporting source. It creates a file on your device; it does not send a message. Reported technical changes need to be checked against the relevant documentation before the guide is updated.
