Searches and correction notes
Fixlume does not create user accounts or store appliance profiles. Search filtering runs in your browser. Correction notes are created on your device; the form does not send them to a server.
Search URLs
Search terms can appear in the address bar and browser history. They may also appear in hosting request logs. Avoid entering private identifiers, addresses, payment details or other sensitive information.
Hosting and external links
The hosting provider may process requests and connection information needed to deliver and protect the site. That processing is separate from the search and correction-note tools. Manufacturer and other external links take you to sites with their own privacy practices.
Optional Google Analytics
When analytics is enabled, Fixlume loads Google Analytics 4 to understand visits and use of the site. Google processes analytics information, including technical browser and device information and activity on the site. Analytics cookies can recognize repeat visits. Our page-view events omit search terms and fragments from the page address we send.
Your choice
For visits identified as US-based, analytics is enabled by default unless you opt out. Elsewhere, or if location cannot be determined, analytics stays off until you allow it. We use a same-origin hosting request to identify the country; we do not store its response or request GPS access. Saved choices and Global Privacy Control override the regional default. Rejecting analytics does not prevent access to the guides. Use Cookie settings in the footer to change your choice. Turning analytics off disables further collection on the page, removes accessible Google Analytics cookies and reloads the page. Data already sent is not erased by withdrawing consent.
Preference storage and cookies
We save your choice in local storage on this device for up to 180 days. When analytics is enabled, our Google Analytics cookie configuration also uses a 180-day expiry. Clearing browser storage can remove your saved choice. A Global Privacy Control signal keeps optional analytics off. Cloudflare may set a security cookie, such as __cf_bm, to help distinguish legitimate visits from automated traffic. This is separate from optional Google Analytics cookies. Advertising and other services
Fixlume does not run display ads or collect repair quote requests. Advertising consent remains off in our Google tag configuration. Google’s Privacy Policy explains its data practices. Google Analytics settings and retention controls are managed separately in the site’s Analytics account.

Email correspondence
If you email Fixlume, the receiving mailbox and email provider process your address and message. Only include the information needed to explain your question or correction.
