Choose Normal and note the lit cycle. Select Water Plus and check the cycle again before starting. The manual explicitly describes the switch to Deep Wash. This is a more useful observation than reporting only that the washer “will not stay on Normal.”
Do not confuse a larger fill with no fill
Water Plus requests extra water for suitable loads; it does not eliminate the need for a working inlet supply. If water never enters or an IE code appears, follow the water-supply path. Do not keep selecting more water to try to repair an inlet fault.
Choose for the load, not a target waterline
Use the garment labels and cycle guide to decide whether the resulting Deep Wash is appropriate. Do not pour extra water into the tub or defeat sensing to force a visual level. If the panel changes when Water Plus has not been selected, record that different behavior for support.
