Wait for motion to stop and the door or lid to unlock. Water may be hot. Isolate power and follow the exact manual before any user filter maintenance. Never open a filter against a full drum, force a lock or bypass an interlock.

Water continuing to enter an off machine changes the immediate task from clearing a code to containing the supply. Diagnosis follows containment rather than another powered trial.

Differentiate fresh incoming water from water that remains after a drain attempt. The former is a continuing supply condition; the latter is retained water. Do not leave the machine unattended to see whether an actively rising water level eventually stops.
Contain the supply
Samsung’s fill guidance and support responses direct owners to shut the supply for uncontrolled filling. Do that only if the valves are safely accessible. Do not step into water to reach a plug or open the washer to manipulate a valve internally. A stuck supply valve or unsafe access requires assistance.
Stop before repeated testing
The code does not establish a particular replacement part. Once the water is contained, record whether the inflow continued after Power was turned off and whether it stopped when the household supply valves closed. That is useful evidence for professional diagnosis, not a reason to repeat the event.

When to stop and get help
