Identify the mode that preceded the complaint
A prewash Waterjet session is not the same state as a wash cycle that refuses to fill. Record whether the jet worked at first, how long it ran and whether Power was pressed. Those facts distinguish the documented timeout and draining behavior from no water at all. The manual also identifies a maximum-water-level stop; a stop earlier than the timeout can therefore still be intentional.
Use the documented prewash arrangement
The manual describes Waterjet with the lid open and an accessible outlet for prewashing items. Do not block the outlet with a hand. Do not reach into a moving basket or attempt to hold a safety mechanism closed. A stopped jet after its timed interval is not a reason to bypass the lid system.
