On this panel a brief press changes a setting, while the sustained Spin press selects an operation. Confirm the display has changed before starting. Choose a fabric-safe speed and hold Start/Pause to begin. Do not interpret the presence of the Rinse+Spin dial position as the only route to spinning.
If water enters anyway
A selected rinse and a balance retry are different observations. Record which operation was selected, whether the basket first attempted a fast spin, and whether Ur or Ub appeared. That timing is more useful than repeating the same selection several times. Do not turn the water taps off to force the machine to continue.
When this stops being a selection problem
Standing water, a drain code, repeated banging or refusal to rotate needs its own investigation. A successful button sequence does not prove the drain or drive system works. Stop an unusually violent cycle rather than using repeated high-speed attempts to dry the load.
What to record next
The useful comparison is requested operation versus what happened next. A wet load alone cannot distinguish wrong selection, poor draining and an unsuccessful balance attempt.
When to stop and get help
Only carry out maintenance permitted in your model’s manual. For service, note the full model number and suffix, displayed code, selected cycle and what happened during the checks.
